Frequently asked questions
I offer both live and on-demand options. Depending on your membership or program, you'll have access to a growing library of classes and guided relaxation practices that you can enjoy whenever it fits your schedule.
Absolutely! Many of the women I work with are brand new to yoga. My classes are designed to meet you exactly where you are, whether you're just getting started, returning to movement after a break, or simply looking for a gentler approach. There is no experience required—just a willingness to begin.
You're not alone, and you're exactly where you belong. My classes are created for real women with real bodies and real life experiences. We focus on gentle, manageable movement that helps improve mobility, strength, balance, and confidence over time. You don't need to "get in shape" before you start. Starting is how you begin to feel better.
Many of my students are managing chronic pain, arthritis, or other physical challenges. As a Registered Massage Therapist and Gentle Yoga Teacher, I understand the importance of moving safely and listening to your body. I provide modifications and options throughout every class, encouraging you to work within your comfort level rather than pushing through pain.
Not at all! Flexibility is not a requirement for yoga. In fact, many people begin yoga because they want to improve their flexibility and mobility. My goal isn't to help you achieve perfect poses, it's to help you move more comfortably and confidently in your everyday life.
That's completely okay. Many of my classes include chair-based options or modifications that reduce or eliminate the need to get down on the floor. I'll help you find movements that work for your body, so you can participate safely and comfortably.
My classes are gentle, supportive, and free of pressure or comparison. I focus on helping women move with greater ease, calm their nervous system, reduce stress, and build confidence in their bodies. Every class includes options and modifications, so you can choose what feels right for you on any given day.
Guided relaxation is a practice that helps calm your mind and relax your body through gentle verbal guidance. It encourages your nervous system to shift into a state of rest and restoration, helping to reduce stress, release tension, and promote a deep sense of well-being. There is nothing you need to do except get comfortable and allow yourself to be guided.
Together, these practices can help improve mobility, reduce muscle tension, manage stress, increase body awareness, support healthy aging, improve balance, and
encourage better sleep. Just as importantly, they offer you dedicated time to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and care for your overall well-being.
Membership gives you ongoing access to a variety of gentle yoga classes, guided relaxation practices, and wellness resources. New yoga content is added every Monday with a guided relaxation on the last Monday of the month, allowing you to create a consistent wellness routine from the comfort of your own home.
Yes. There are no long-term commitments. You can cancel your membership whenever you choose, giving you the flexibility to participate in a way that works best for you.
There is no perfect number. Even one or two sessions each week can make a meaningful difference over time. Consistency is far more important than intensity, and
every small step you take supports your overall health and well-being.
Absolutely. One of the beautiful things about gentle yoga is that every practice can be adapted to how you're feeling that day. Some days you may feel energized and ready to move, while other days you may simply need to breathe, stretch gently, or rest. There is never any expectation to keep up or push through discomfort. My classes encourage you to listen to your body and honour what it needs in each moment. Meet yourself where you are today!
